The World’s First Densified Carbon Nanotube (DCN) Sheet

Weighing approximately 1.0 g/cc, with an average sheet resistance of 177 mOhm/square and a Complex Impedance ~0, DCN material ideal for air, ground, and space-based applications such as antenna reflectors and drones where weight is a premium. â€‹

Unlike traditional carbon nanotube materials, DCN film contains no polymers, making it compatible in operating temperatures from -200°C to +350°C

Our patented manufacturing process dramatically enhances the Pi-Pi stacking between the carbon nanotubes. The much increased nanotube-nanotube attraction combined with the carbon-carbon bonds (sigma and pi bonds) of the nanotubes creates a workable sheet material with novel properties for designing reflectors used in ground, air and space and drone applications.

Intellectual property has been secured on the base material and process for making DCN film, several patent applications are being applied for to secure derivative intellectual property.

We build from commercially available Miralon® sheets to create Densified Carbon Nanotube film.

Our DCN film at 15 g/m^2 from 2 - 110 GHz has the same performance as a ¼” plate of aluminum weighing 17,000 grams. DCN is an ideal reflector for a variety of applications.
