Polymer-free densified carbon nanotube (DCN) sheet is the best in the class and a platform material.

USES

DCN sheets withstand high temperature, resist against organic solvents and strong acids and bases.

DCN sheets are highly conductive with electric conductivity reaching that of mercury (1 x 10^6 S/m).

DCN sheets are superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding material and can find applications in defense, aerospace, automotive and consumer electronics markets. They can also find use as soft electrodes.

Right now we offer 25 cm x 25 cm and smaller DCN sheets . We do have the capability to make 30 cm x 30 cm DCN sheets. We are focusing on making 1 m x 1 m DCN sheets right now.

WHAT IS DCN?

4th Phase Technologies manufactures densified carbon nanotube (DCN) sheets from raw pristine carbon nanotube (CNT) sheets. Extensive CNT bundling and alignment result in DCN's high tensile strength and high electric conductivity.

WHAT SETS US APART?

4th Phase Technologies approaches this technological challenge by developing a proprietary process to purify CNTs in raw pristine CNT sheets without relying on harsh and corrosive chemical treatment, and densify purified CNTs without polymer binders.

Here we show a 30 cm x 30 cm CNT sheet of less than 5 micrometers in thickness and less than 0.75 g in mass to shield the electromagnetic signal for making a phone call. When the phone is wrapped in the sheet, it cannot pick up any signal to ring.
